Is Persona Poker a free poker app?

Yes. Persona Poker is free to download on iOS and Android. Ranked matches and friend duels are free to play. Optional in-app purchases unlock items such as emotes and Peel Cards; purchases do not buy a bigger starting match stack. Shop chips are separate from match stacks and cannot be wagered, transferred or withdrawn.

How do I choose the best poker app for me?

Start with the format you want: heads-up or a full table, an installed app or a browser game, and whether you want to wager money. Persona Poker focuses on free 1v1 Texas Hold’em with equal 50BB starting stacks, no rebuys and a ranked ladder. It may suit you if you want competition without cash wagering; it does not offer multi-player cash tables or real-money play.

How do standby match invitations work?

Standby makes you available for a limited session so you can receive an invitation when an eligible player near your rating searches. Invitations expire, and both players confirm readiness before a recruited match starts. You can end standby and manage optional reminders separately.

Will I always play against a human?

No. Ranked matchmaking prioritizes human opponents, but a bot can fill the seat when a human pairing is not found within the search window. Standby and reminders help connect available players; they do not guarantee a human match.

Can I watch other players’ poker matches?

Yes. Signed-in eligible players can open Social to watch a featured public ranked match or browse All matches. Eligible human matches are ordered by both players’ average rating at match start, with higher-rated pairings first. Friend viewing is available under separate permissions.

Can spectators see hidden hole cards?

No. Public spectators see public actions, community cards and cards revealed at showdown or voluntarily shown. Hidden cards and private Peel Card information stay private. Both players must allow public spectating for a ranked match to appear.

Can I customize poker emotes and automatic reactions?

How do I earn honors and review the hands behind them?
